Congratulations on your admission to the Osh International Medical University and welcome to the Kyrgyz Republic!
The following guide is intended to help students apply for their student visa and subsequently enter the Kyrgyz Republic to begin their academic degree programs.
If you are currently outside of the Kyrgyz Republic or stay in the Kyrgyz Republic on a student visa status, please communicate to the International Affairs Office (office in the Campus, Street Sabirova–2.) for further assistance by mail: oshimukg1@gmail.com, by telephone: +996 705545000 (WA).
Students or international staff eligible for a Kyrgyz entry visa must communicate with the Foreign partners cooperation sector (oshimukg1@gmail.com) or the country’s official representatives.

You need to submit the admission letter, valid passport, and photo to the official representative of your country.

We request that you should send colored, properly scanned documents in JPEG:
1. Passport (valid for at least one year);
2. The photo must be on a white background and in non-white clothes not blending with the white background; (size must be more than 60 kb);

HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA OFFLINE

You need to submit:
1. Passport (valid for at least one year);
2. 1 copy of correctly filled visa application form;
3. 2 photos of 3×4 cm on a white background and in non-white clothes not blending with the white background;
4. 1 copy of the contract (agreement between the Osh IMU and the Student);
5. Fee clearance certificate (from your agent);
6. Certificate of residence (справка по месту жительства) to be obtained from hostel manager;

If you reside in a rented apartment, please submit the following documents you take from the apartment owner:
• The notarized consent certificate from the owner (нотариально заверенное согласие);
• The apartment technical parameters certificate main page copy (“технический паспорт” копия обложки)
• А copy of apartment owner’s ID passport (копия ID паспорта собственника).

DEADLINES:
You should submit a visa extension request no later than 30 days prior to your current visa expiry date.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW!
Strict compliance with the requirements for visa documents (size and quality of the photo, correct and readable completion of the application form, tuition fees) will contribute to a positive and timely consideration of your visa application.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA ONLINE

Below is the set of required documents.

• We request that you should send colored, properly scanned documents in JPEG to our e-mail oshimukg1@gmail.com
• Application form (you may print out and scan it after filling in or type on the application form);
• Passport front page (valid for at least one year);
• Current visa page;
• The photo must be on a white background and in non-white clothes that do not blend in with the white background; (size must be more than 60 kb);
• Payment receipt.

You must register your arrival in the Kyrgyz Republic.
For Payments: You must pay the visa extension fee to the Osh IMU account in full amount along with the University fees. For more information regarding the account details, please contact the office of International Affairs;

TYPES OF VISA

• Single entry for 6 months;
• Multi entry for 6 months (in exceptional cases);
• Single entry for 1 year;
• Multi entry for 1 year (in exceptional cases);
• Exit visa (in case of urgent leaving and pre-term expulsion).

In exceptional cases:

• For health reasons, if you have a medical examination certificate;
• To participate in conferences, if you have an invitation from the inviting party.

Pay attention to the:

• Passport validity;
• Your contract validity.

VISA WILL BE ISSUED IN LINE WITH THE VALIDITY OF PASSPORT AND CONTRACT!!

Welcome to the Kyrgyz Republic!

You need to do two things when you enter the Kyrgyz Republic:

• Check your passport to make sure that the immigration officer has put an entry stamp indicating that you have entered on a certain date, in certain visa status, e.g. S
• Print your e-visa former keep an electronic copy on your phone as you will need it for other purposes.

Registration

You must register your arrival with the International Cooperation Center within 5 or 30 days (dependent on citizen/country) from the start entry stamp on your passport, otherwise, you will pay FINE. To register your arrival you must provide the following documents:

– Certificate of residence (справка по месту жительства) to be obtained from hostel manager;
– If you reside in a rented apartment, please submit the following documents you take from the apartment owner:

1. The notarized consent certificate from the owner (нотариально заверенное согласие);
2. The apartment technical parameters certificate main page copy (“технический паспорт” копия обложки)
3. А copy of apartment owner’s ID passport (копия ID паспорта собственника).

Please take your passport and visa document for registration at the ICC. If you have F dependents who have accompanied you to the Kyrgyz Republic, please take their visa documents and passports to the ICC as well. The ICC staff will provide important immigration-related information and will answer any questions you may have.
